We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Cringila Public School. The successful candidate will have experience in delivering high-quality education programs for preschool-age children, with a focus on play-based learning and intentional teaching.

Job Description

Cringila Public School is a small primary school situated on Dharawal Country, home to the people of the Five Islands Dreaming. We support a diverse, multicultural community with students and families from many nationalities contributing to our rich school culture. Currently, 80% of our student population has a language background other than English representing thirteen different language backgrounds. The most commonly spoken languages are Arabic, Macedonian and Turkish.

The new public preschool will provide quality educational programs guided by the Early Years Learning Framework, to help all children make a strong start in life and learning and experience a successful transition to school.

Key Selection Criteria
  • A proven ability to build positive relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated capacity to plan and implement a preschool program based on the Early Years Learning Framework, including a thorough understanding of age-appropriate pedagogies.
  • Approval to teach preschool holding an AECQA approved teaching qualification.
