We are currently seeking an In-Home Support Professional to join our Home Care Team in the Caloundra Region. As an In-Home Support Professional, you will provide 1:1 support to consumers accessing our Aged Care Home Care services.

Your role will involve assisting consumers with their daily living needs, including domestic assistance, personal care, and transportation. You will work collaboratively with our team to develop individualised plans that cater to each consumer's unique needs and goals.

To be successful in this role, you will require excellent communication skills, a patient and empathetic nature, and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations. You will also need to hold a Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Ageing or Community) and have a current First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification.

We offer a competitive salary package, including a minimum hourly rate of $33.41 plus Superannuation (SCHADS Level 2.1), travel allowance, and access to employee award and recognition programs. Key responsibilities:

  • Providing domestic assistance, including meal preparation and light cleaning;
  • Assisting consumers with personal care needs, such as showering, dressing, toileting, eating/drinking;
  • Transporting consumers to medical appointments and social activities;
  • Maintaining records of consumer interactions and progress towards goals;
  • Collaborating with other team members to develop and implement individualised care plans;
  • Reporting any changes or concerns to the relevant authorities.
