Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to support and guide clients in attaining suitable, meaningful employment opportunities that lead to sustainable employment outcomes. As an Employment Consultant, you will use your skills to build rapport with clients, assist them on their employment journey and to overcome barriers to employment.

You will assess job seeker skills, abilities, identify barriers and intervention strategies, in consultation with our job seekers.

You will develop and maintain work preparation strategies, job seeking strategies, tailored interventions (including other service providers) and employment support activities.

You will reverse market job seekers to achieve sustainable employment opportunities.

You will provide pre-employment assistance through vocational counselling, training, job search skills, and work trials/work experience to increase capacity for employment.
