Job Title: Senior Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Psychologist to join our team at Western Health. As a Senior Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological services to children and families, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer a range of infant, child and adolescent psychometric instruments, including the Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development (4th Ed.), Wechsler Preschool & Primary Scale of Intelligence (4th Ed.), and Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (5th Ed.).
  • Assess clients' psychological needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Liaise with the treating team and relevant other parties to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical programs and services.
  • Provide education and training to staff and students on psychological assessment and intervention techniques.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in administering a range of infant, child and adolescent psychometric instruments.
  • Ability to think quickly and broadly while triaging new referrals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology (PhD or equivalent).
