We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Arts and Technologies department. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Principal to provide educational leadership within the school and the broader community.
Main Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Develop and promote the school's vision, encouraging active participation from staff, community volunteers, and other stakeholders.
- Staff Support: Provide professional guidance to Teachers of Performing and Visual Arts, Design and Digital Technologies, ensuring they stay informed on relevant curriculum changes.
- Teaching and Learning: Facilitate teaching and learning outcomes, employing effective performance management strategies, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement among the school's academic community.
- Change Management: Implement change management strategies to lead the school community in accepting and developing opportunities for improved service within your specified subject area.
- School Plan Implementation: Collaboratively implement and refine the school plan Kadadjini Dandjoo, involving participative decision-making, policy development, and the establishment of necessary systems.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency, or a valid visa with relevant work rights.
- Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
- A valid Working With Children Check and Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education's Screening Unit.
