Clinical Care Specialist

This job post is for a dedicated rotational shift team which includes Day, Afternoon and Night shifts. The successful candidate will work a minimum of 60 hours per fortnight.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality operating theatre nursing care as a Registered Scrub/Scout with Anaesthetic and PACU experience.
- Rotate through each area in OPH theatres as part of a multidisciplinary team to support the patient journey.
- The opportunity for upskilling will be provided for PACU and Anaesthetic experience if not already held; meeting mandatory requirements through supported development.
- Support 24/7 Emergency Obstetric theatre cover and other surgical services as part of an extended pool.
- Rotate through various surgical specialties including ENT, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics (including arthroplasty), Plastics, Urology (including robotics) and Vascular, as well as Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- A Registered Nurse with Theatre Scrub/Scout, Anaesthetic and PACU skills is required, with a minimum of 12 months' experience.
- No APHRA restrictions are acceptable; AHPRA registration eligibility is essential.
- Mandatory theatre skills are necessary; upskilling will be provided where required.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for permanent positions. Fixed-term appointments require documentary evidence of entitlement to live and work in Australia for the contract period.
