Project Quality Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Quality Manager to join our Construction Team in Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing quality functions on a long-term project and ensuring works meet specified requirements.

  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.
  • Coordinate quality planning activities and establish the project QA audit schedule.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports and corrective actions.
  • Assist project engineers with auditing suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Monitor ITP approval, measuring and test equipment, document and drawing control, and completion of construction quality records.
  • Manage third-party inspection processes on site as required.
  • Manage trade contractor submissions schedules.
  • Implement and monitor Lendlease internal quality control processes.
Key Requirements
  • Australian citizenship at time of application.
  • Government security clearance or ability to obtain one (Lendlease will support).
  • 5+ years industry experience preferably in Quality Assurance Engineer or Manager role within Construction or Civil Infrastructure industries.
  • Experience on large-scale $100m commercial construction projects.
  • Healthcare Defence and/or Government project experience highly regarded.
  • Meticulous attention to detail in managing quality.
  • Implementing processes and continuously evaluating and refining them.
  • Excellent time management skills and strong planning prioritisation abilities.
