Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Organisational Excellence Lead to join our team in Townsville. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and supporting audit, risk management, and compliance across the organisation, ensuring alignment with mission and values.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to drive enhancements in quality, WHS systems, and business processes, maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to address emerging needs and risks. As an Organisational Excellence Lead, you will:

  • Provide expert advice and support on complex audit, WHS, HR/IR, and change management issues.
  • Stay current on audit practices and legislation, applying these effectively across the organisation's systems and providers.
  • Manage data reporting and analysis to meet internal and funding requirements.
  • Drive enhancements in quality, WHS systems, and business processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree or extensive relevant experience, or a mix of both qualifications and expertise.
  • A strong background in quality and safety, with skills in legislative interpretation, policy development, and complex issue resolution.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, skilled in building professional relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Advanced consultation and negotiation expertise, providing trusted advice and maintaining credibility across all levels.
  • Proven supervisory or management experience, fostering a values-based, service-focused team culture.
