Newmont Corporation, a leading gold mining company, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Officer to join its Commercial Department at Cadia. This is a fixed-term position based in Orange, NSW, with the possibility of ongoing employment.
Key Responsibilities- Enforce efficient processes for returns, rotables, and waste management.
- Encourage the use of SAP system for inventory management and work planning.
- Manage materials goods in accordance with company policy.
- Ensure accurate receipt, storage, and accounting of materials using SAP system.
- Ensure timely delivery of scheduled parts through efficient kitting and staging process.
- Complete stocktaking as per audit requirements.
- Focus on maintaining up-to-date returns onsite and at the warehouse.
- Ensure timely processing of rotables.
- Support continuous improvement of operational processes.
- Support the Safety Management System to foster a safety-first work culture.
- Proactively monitor to maintain a safe work environment.
- Enforce compliance with standard work procedures and safe systems.
- Record incidents in Chess and complete initial incident actions.
- Forklift license - essential
- Previous warehousing and mining experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting as well as independently
