This is a recruitment process for permanent full-time and/or permanent part-time appointments as Nurse Educators.
We currently have two positions available:
- Position 0.7 FTE (53.2 hours per fortnight)
- Position 1.0 FTE (76 hours per fortnight) - In addition to SRN 3 duties, this position involves hospital-wide programs and the management of nursing and midwifery eLearning across tertiary hospitals.
Tertiary hospitals offer a range of health services including state rehabilitation services, comprehensive cancer centers, purpose-built mental health units, maternity, pediatric, and neonatal services, and state adult burns services.
The successful applicants are responsible for developing, facilitating, implementing, and evaluating educational professional development programs/resources and strategies for nursing and midwifery services.
The nurse educators will work in collaboration with colleagues and the nurse director.
