We are seeking a Financial Director to join our team at Ziku Capital and play a key role in driving the growth and success of our business.

About the Role:

  • As a senior leader within the firm, you will be responsible for leading and managing client engagements, developing and mentoring onshore and offshore staff, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the firm.
  • You will be expected to evaluate and implement strategies to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility through effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • You will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of an efficiency program to bring the business up to industry standard on debtor collection, increasing subscription revenue to smooth out revenue collection and the offshoring of the majority of individual tax returns to the Ziku Global offshore team.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in public/private practice accounting, with a focus on personal and small to medium business taxation covering sole traders, company's and trusts
  • Proven track record of successful client management and business development working with small to medium sized clients across various industries
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
