Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Audit Manager to join our Cairns team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in auditing and a passion for delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct audits and reviews of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and expectations
  • Manage and supervise audit teams to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff members to help them develop their skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions

Requirements

  • Previous experience in auditing and a strong understanding of Australian auditing standards and accounting standards
  • CA or CPA qualification or working towards this
  • Sound business acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities within agreed timelines
  • Strong teamwork and problem-solving mindset
  • Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active leader to our growing team
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload
  • High experience with CaseWare Working Papers and Financial statements
