Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key holder and manager on duty, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment, driving sales, and maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine vehicle repairs and maintenance per company and manufacturer standards
  • Communicate vehicle issues to guests and provide excellent customer service
  • Help maintain store cleanliness and condition to Monro standards
  • Test drive vehicles per policy, observing traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Adhere to company policies, government standards, and safety regulations
  • Maintain technical knowledge through ongoing training
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely, including lifts, welders, and brake lathes
  • Assist in guest care, work order completion, register duties, and facility maintenance
  • Support opening and closing procedures as a secondary key holder
  • Communicate effectively about products and services offered

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive training or experience in basic car maintenance and repair
  • Valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program
