Job Summary
The Foxtel Group is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Commercial Finance team. As a key member of the Foxtel Media Executive team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day commercial finance function and driving business performance through strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Foxtel Media Executive team in planning and shaping strategic initiatives to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to inform business decisions and drive commercial outcomes.
- Collaborate with senior management across finance and the business to build trusted relationships and drive business performance.
- Oversee the overhaul of trading reporting to unlock actionable insights and drive commercial outcomes.
- Manage oversight of major advertising capital investments and ensure projects are delivered on-time and on-budget.
- Lead collaboration, mentoring, and cross-skilling across the broader Streaming & Advertising finance team.
- Manage the cost base of the Foxtel Media business and drive initiatives to grow advertising revenue for the Foxtel Group.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a similar role within Advertising/Media (highly desirable).
- Strong finance leader with a demonstrable track record of driving business performance through the commercial agenda.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build trusted relationships across the business.
- Comfortable synthesizing complex information and distilling into key insights and actions for management.
- Ability to translate how activity drivers and choices translate to revenue outcomes.
- Commercial mindset and strong analytical skills.
- Comfortable navigating through a constantly changing and complex environment, adapting to challenges and opportunities as they arise.
- Pragmatic and collaborative approach to problem-solving with an ability to identify quick wins.
- Experienced working under pressure and being able to work at an 80:20 level managing multiple priorities without compromising quality of output.
