Visy Logistics Australia is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead all finance and accounting activities for the Australian logistics division. As a critical role, this position is responsible for driving performance and providing financial expertise to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Ownership and control of month-end close and supporting reporting cadence, including analysis and commentary.
- Driving process and analytical innovation through technology solutions and best practice principles.
- Leading business partnering function to the Australian business units and senior management team.
- Leading and developing team members to be a 'high-performing' team.
- Technical and scalable accounting solutions to support an aggressive growth trajectory.
- Ongoing development and execution of financial planning framework, including budgets and forecasts.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Finance and/or Accounting, including CA/CPA qualification.
- Minimum 8 years' experience working in finance/accounting roles.
- Dealt directly with key stakeholders and upper management.
- Experience in people management.
- Effective, clear, and confident communication.
