The role of a Registered Midwife involves providing woman-centered, evidence-based midwifery care that promotes identified health outcomes. As part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating midwifery care.

• This position requires current midwifery registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and recent antenatal and postnatal experience is preferred.
• The ideal candidate will demonstrate a high degree of autonomy and be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Evidence of participation in ongoing professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancing skills is essential.

• Assess and plan midwifery care for individuals.
• Implement and evaluate midwifery care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide education and support to individuals and their families.
