Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a Support Worker to provide care and support to our participants with their everyday living in residential, vocational or other environments. This role involves assisting individuals with disabilities to live safely and comfortably at home while actively enjoying their local community.

About the Role:
  • Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, medication management, and meal preparation;
  • Accompany participants on outings and engage in community-based activities;
  • Support participants with their NDIS plans and goals;
  • Maintain accurate records of participant interactions and progress;
  • Collaborate with other support workers and coordinators to ensure consistent support and services.
Essential Requirements:
  • Certificate III qualification in Disability or Aged Care, or relevant industry experience;
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Check;
  • Working with Children Check for Paid Employment;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Unrestricted NSW Drivers License;
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate;
  • A commitment to supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and aspirations;
  • Ability to work autonomously and using initiative within parameters of policy and procedures;
  • Established conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
