
Dedicated Disability Support Educator

The successful applicant will work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team of educators to develop individualised learning plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Some key initiatives that support students with disabilities include:
- Flexible Learning Options: We offer an alternative learning setting for students aged 15-18 who require additional support.
- Transition Program: Our Assistant Principal coordinates a smooth and well-planned transition program for students moving into Year 7.
- Student Family Occupation and Education (SFOE) Index: Our staffing profile meets the needs of our students, including a Principal, Assistant Principals, Leading Teachers, Learning Specialists, teachers, Educational Support Staff, a Business Manager, and maintenance persons.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.
- Ability to work and collaborate with others in a team environment.
- High-level oral and written communication skills.
- Techical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
- Capacity to provide advice and support to management and other staff in respect to the work area.
