Job Description

The Senior Radiography Team Leader will play a pivotal role in the smooth operation of our medium-sized clinic, focusing on staff development, rostering, recruitment, audits, and stock ordering.

This position involves a mix of leadership, administrative, and clinical responsibilities, ensuring seamless operations and up-to-date clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a cohesive team, promoting a culture of collaboration and excellence.
  • Ensure efficient day-to-day operations, covering rostering, recruitment, and staff training.
  • Maintain accurate records, conduct regular audits, and oversee stock management.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders, Drs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to quarterly management meetings and participate in state-based conferences and CPD sessions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Significant experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Full AHPRA registration and membership of relevant professional organizations.
  • Demonstrated skills in Advanced CT, Mammo, and MRI, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and empower team members.
