Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design works.
  2. Skills: Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and the Microsoft Office suite (Word and PowerPoint).
  3. Design Principles: Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, colour theory, and layout.
  4. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
  5. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  7. Security Clearance: Hold an NV1 or higher Australian Government security clearance.
Desirable Criteria
  1. UX Design Knowledge: Knowledge of user experience (UX) design principles and best practices.
  2. Wireframing and Prototyping: Experience with wireframing and prototyping tools such as Figma.
  3. Responsive Design: Understanding of responsive design and accessibility standards.
  4. CMS and Web Development: Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and web development processes.
  5. Design Skills: Willingness to learn and develop experience design skills.
Qualifications/Traits
  1. Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience working at a digital agency as a Graphic Designer or User Experience Designer.
  2. Portfolio: Portfolio of key projects delivered in past years, calling out your role on the project, deliverables responsible, and successes achieved.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills (both in conversation and in writing) and a portfolio that demonstrates this ability in various phases of design.
  4. Collaboration: Ability to work gracefully and have a bias for action in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  5. Design Review: Ability to drive the design review cycle and close on design requirements independently.
  6. Teamwork: Worked within collaborative, cross-functional teams to deliver multiple successful projects.
