We are seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team on the Pluto Train 2 Project in Western Australia. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for:
- Reading and interpreting Isometric drawings to ensure accurate installation of pipes.
- Site measuring and fitting large bore and small bore pipes to meet project specifications.
- Working to Bechtel's piping procedures and tolerances to ensure high-quality workmanship.
- Installing pipe supports to ensure safe and efficient pipe installation.
- Completing Flange Management and ITR's to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Working with supervision and engineering to complete IWP's and ensure project deliverables are met.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position within the construction and LNG industry.
- Experience reading Isometric drawings and using P&IDs to ensure accurate pipe installation.
- Previous experience using clamshell and oxy cutting to install pipes.
- An Australian recognised fabrication or fitting trade certificate.
- A White Card to ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol screening.
- Previous Bechtel experience is desirable.
We offer a competitive remuneration package, including:
- A base rate of $47.30 per hour.
- A tradesperson allowance of $1.88 per hour.
- A site allowance of $5.40 per hour.
- Severance payment of 2 x base hourly rate per week.
- Weekly pay.
