About the Role:

Certified personal trainers work with clients to help them achieve their fitness goals. As a certified trainer, you will be responsible for creating personalized workout plans, providing guidance and support, and helping clients reach their desired level of fitness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow your client base through prospecting, outreach, and selling your training services
  • Keep your weekly appointments organized and up-to-date
  • Ensure the fitness floor is clean, safe, and welcoming for all members and colleagues
  • Provide New Join Services for new members within their first 30 days
  • Offer personalized exercise recommendations to help clients achieve their specific fitness goals
  • Stay current: Keep your certifications up to date and attend all required department meetings, continuing education sessions, and member appreciation events
  • Maintain detailed records of fitness evaluations, workout programs, client notes, and progress tracking in the system

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or a related field
  • Nationally accredited Personal Training certification
  • 2+ years in a health club setting with proven sales experience in personal training sessions
  • Must be or have been a Master and/or Elite level trainer
  • Current CPR and AED certification
