About this role:

We are seeking a skilled legal professional to join our team as a Costs Lawyer. In this critical role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional results and providing expert guidance on all aspects of legal cost management.

This is an exciting opportunity for a lawyer with experience in legal costing who possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills. If you have a strong understanding of applicable court rules and case law, and can work effectively under pressure, we want to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on legal cost management
  • Drafting high-quality legal cost documents
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in court rules and case law

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualifications: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in legal costing
  • Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, demonstrated expertise in legal cost drafting, ability to work under pressure
