Job Title: Freight and Logistics Coordinator
The role of a Freight and Logistics Coordinator is vital to the efficient operation of our business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer invoices for freight services, ensuring timely payment and resolving any discrepancies.
- Match purchase orders with supplier invoices and process accounts payable, maintaining accurate records and adhering to financial protocols.
- Reconcile fuel usage, driver dockets, and vehicle-related expenses, identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing efficient solutions.
- Assist in monitoring debtor balances and following up on outstanding payments, fostering strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong understanding of transport and logistics billing processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
You will also need to be highly detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy and precision. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting software will be advantageous, as will the ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely.
