Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Manager to lead our team in Yatala, driving production efficiency and equipment availability.

This key role involves coordinating maintenance activities, coaching and managing a skilled maintenance fitters team, and developing efficient maintenance plans. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure maximum equipment availability and optimize production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of maintenance plans, ensuring tools, spares, and standard operating procedures are up-to-date.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and manage engineering administration.
  • Lead problem-solving sessions, identify potential issues, and facilitate solutions.
  • Foster strong team dynamics, implement performance management, and maintain open communication.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, implementing best practices for a safe work environment.

About You

You have experience managing maintenance teams in fast-paced environments, with excellent communication and influencing skills to manage stakeholders. Additionally, you possess:

  • Expertise in high-speed packaging lines (beverage experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement processes (GEM).
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Previous experience working with external contractors and overseeing their performance.
  • Experience with FMCG machinery and the ability to meet KPIs.
  • Trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant Engineering and Maintenance Management qualifications.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
