Property Officer Role

This Federal Government organisation is seeking a property officer to join their experienced and skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the organisation's facilities, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance Scheduling: The Property Officer will engage with third-party providers to monitor preventative maintenance schedules and property repairs for company locations.
  • Enquiry Management: Respond to property-related enquiries and issues from staff members in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Carpark Management: Develop and maintain carpark ballots to ensure fair allocation of parking spaces.
  • Stationery and Consumables: Monitor levels of stationery and consumables within company locations and arrange sufficient stocks to be ordered and delivered.
  • Collaboration and Support: Work collaboratively with other enabling services to achieve positive outcomes for staff and assist the Fleet team as required.
Requirements:
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in a confidential environment, adhering to relevant legislation and policies.
  • Technology Skills: Proficiently use Microsoft Suite programs to manage day-to-day tasks and data.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, ensuring effective interaction with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Ability to work efficiently, manage workload effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in a related field are highly desirable but not essential.
