The Supply and Demand Planning Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the supply chain process.

This strategic position oversees managing and coordinating the company's supply & demand planning function, focusing on sustainably deploying best practices across the organization. The ultimate deliverable is the sustainable improvement of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) maturity towards level 3.

The Supply and Demand Planning Manager serves as a link with Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Formulation, and Supply Chain teams, as well as global supply points. This role is accountable for the management of the IBP, Customer Service, Supply & Demand Planning process, ensuring demand is fulfilled in accordance with customer request and specification, contributing to achieving the company strategy and defined business targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Strategy Development: Provide input to the Supply Chain strategy and develop and execute the Supply & Demand strategy for the department to improve supply excellence.
  • IBP Process Management: Lead and drive the IBP process, organizing all meetings according to the company standards, supporting and facilitating the Financial Forecasting Process.
  • Demand Segmentation: Define strategy for new businesses by analyzing the latest trends and developments in the market and translating this to the department.
Integrated Business Supply & Demand Planning
  • Aligned Processes: Aligned with Plant/Operations and third-party suppliers, co-drive the execution of the IBP process (operational and tactical horizon), organize all meetings according to the company standards, support and facilitate the Financial Forecasting Process.
  • Scenario Decision Documents: Prepare scenario decision documents for the IBP process.
  • Balancing Demand and Supply: Balance demand and supply in the most optimal way in terms of volume, revenues, costs, and margin and develop scenarios for decision making.
  • Optimizing Supply Network: Optimize and implement changes to the supply network of the company, in line with targets and guidelines (focus on OTIF and EBIT improvement).
Skills and Qualifications
  • Skillset: Strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, experience with supply chain management software, ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a similar role.
