Job Title: Cleaning Assistant

As a member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents' rooms and common areas.

Our residential aged care home is a welcoming environment where we strive to promote the dignity, life, and spirituality of our older residents through connected and inclusive communities.

  • Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents' rooms
  • Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues, and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high-quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Previous experience working as a cleaner ideally
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
  • A reliable team player
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
