Workshop Technician

We're seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join our team at A.I.R Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing consistent and accurate assembly, supply and installation of hoses, tubes and fittings for industrial applications.

This pivotal role requires a motivated and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work. You will support customers within the centre and Field Service Technicians, ensuring customer requirements and expectations are met.

The successful candidate will be provided with full product and job training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, supply and installation of hoses, tubes and fittings to equipment and machinery.
  • Maintain customer records with all necessary information regarding orders, quotes and product information.
  • Upselling of service and products whilst on customer service calls.
  • Ensure all policy, procedures and safety requirements are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:
  • Trade or mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to operate machinery, use tools and measuring devices accurately.
  • A strong work ethic and pride in workmanship.
  • Desire to be a team player.
  • Ability to arrange and plan priorities.
  • Anticipate problems and be pro-active in finding solutions.
  • Strong understanding of customer service.
  • Have an understanding of OHS and Safe Work Practices.
  • Ability to carry out instructions.

  • $35 per hour + super.
