We are seeking a highly skilled Contract Administrator to join our commercial advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts during the post-award stage of construction projects and services across multiple Capital Delivery projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear and effective communication on contractual obligations, changes, and milestones.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contract terms are understood and adhered to, facilitating project execution, and fostering professional relationships.
- Manage contract budgets and expenditures, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts and variance analyses, providing detailed reports to project managers and senior leadership.
- Implement cost control measures and support identification of cost-saving opportunities, contributing to the project's success.
- Ensure the accurate preparation, review, and administration of contract documents in alignment with project requirements and legal standards, as well as maintain comprehensive contract records, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant with regulations and policies.
- Apply and interpret key elements of works delivery and construction contracts, including Australian Standard Conditions of Contract and other bespoke contract documentation.
- Demonstrated experience in a contracts administration position, ideally within a similar industry.
- Excellent commercial management skills, including interpreting and applying contract terms and legislation provisions.
- Experience in Minor Contracts (subcontracts, supply contracts, and consultancy agreements).
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence optimal commercial outcomes and provide quality customer service.
- Strong analytical, planning, and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the MS Office products and familiarity with contract management and financial management software.
