Education and Training Role

This role focuses on developing and maintaining the skills of healthcare professionals.

A Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating education programs that build capability across the nursing workforce.

  • They must foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
  • The educator will provide day-to-day one-to-one teaching, support, and in-service education tailored to team and individual needs.
  • They take on a leadership role as a mentor, preceptor, and role model, promoting collaboration and shared learning.
  • Close work with nursing staff and managers is essential to identify education priorities and address learning needs.
  • The educator contributes to the development and review of procedures and guidelines to ensure best practice is at the core of care.

About You:

  • You are currently registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • You have relevant post-registration qualification in education or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in delivering education and applying learning and assessment principles is necessary.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and independently is needed.
  • Current Driver's Licence is mandatory.
  • Hold current work rights in Australia or be a permanent resident or citizen.
