About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Ward team at Frontline Health Brisbane. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit-based policies and procedures
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Surgical Ward setting
- Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of surgical nursing principles and practices
- Current AHPRA registration and a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and ongoing professional development
