Job DescriptionIn this senior role, you will report directly to a Senior Managing Solicitor and be responsible for managing your own files from start to finish. You will obtain client instructions, review medical evidence, conduct thorough legal research, provide expert technical advice, and collaborate with solicitors, doctors, and counsel to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
This challenging and stimulating role consists of various case types, including CTP, public liability, workers compensation, work injury damages, medical negligence, TPD, and abuse cases. As a senior lawyer, you will have the autonomy to develop your skills and expertise, working closely with top mentors who are dedicated to guiding your professional growth.
Requirements and Qualifications- You must be an admitted solicitor with at least 2 years of experience in personal injury law, preferably with expertise in multiple areas such as CTP, WC/WID, public liability, medical negligence, child sex abuse, and TPD;
- Hold strong technical legal research, drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills, along with high attention to detail;
- Be deadline-driven and client-centric, thriving in a fast-paced environment;
