Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager - Network Closure and Works Readiness to join our team. The successful candidate will lead interface activities for V/Line's Network Closures and Work Readiness Processes, optimizing network access and integrating assets into business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage the schedule for track closures, ensuring all work is planned, managed, and monitored properly.
  • Plan, manage, and monitor work packages to ensure they meet V/Line standards and readiness criteria.
  • Provide governance and assurance services to ensure all works meet required standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and transition works into regular operations safely and effectively.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives and participate in 'lessons learnt' workshops.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated alignment to V/Line's values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership, and human rights.
  • Experience in managing and supporting a dynamic and busy team.
  • Proven experience in Asset Management or Major Infrastructure projects within the rail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Rail Asset Management, Technical or Engineering systems, with a focus on ISO 55001.
