Gardening & Brush Cutting Team Leader
Job Description:This role involves leading a team to maintain and enhance green spaces across council-controlled roadsides and open spaces around the Sunshine Coast.
Ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.
Responsibilities:- Lead a team of gardeners and brush cutters
- Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain and inspect equipment regularly
- Maintain lawns and green spaces to a high standard
- Complete service requests as required
- FOLLOW SAFETY PROTOCOLS AND PROCEDURES AT ALL TIMES
- Previous experience in gardening, spraying, brush cutting and zero turn mowing
- Valid Manual Drivers Licence
- White Card
- ACDC highly regarded
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team or individually
- Be punctual and reliable
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
