Cardiology Registrar Opportunity in Gippsland

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking an Unaccredited Cardiology Registrar to join its team in 2024.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of post-graduate experience and demonstrated expertise in cardiology assessment and clinical management. They should also possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
This role provides a unique opportunity to consolidate clinical and technical skills across a broad spectrum of patient presentations and conditions, while also engaging in didactic learning and research in cardiology.
As an Unaccredited Cardiology Registrar, you will provide support to Cardiology residents and other junior medical staff where required and rostered. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team consisting of cardiologists, cardiac nurses, technologists, sonographers, a registrar, and a basic physician trainee.
The hospital's Cardiology department offers a comprehensive range of services, including consultation, catheterization laboratory procedures, and outpatient care. You will be responsible for supporting patients in various departments, including inpatient wards, emergency, ICU/CCU, and outpatients.
A key aspect of this role is collaboration and teamwork. The successful candidate will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the department's overall objectives.
