About the Role

The role requires providing outreach support services, including advocacy, provision of information, and skills development. You'll work in compliance with the Human Services Quality Framework and the National Quality Framework for Alcohol and other Drugs, adhering to our Community Services Policy Framework and policies.

This is a Fixed-term Full-time (38 hours per week) Community Care Worker role based in Townsville. To be successful, you'll need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Alcohol & other Drugs, Mental Health, or similar.
  • Experience in developing and delivering comprehensive individual and group programs to support individuals recovering from drug and alcohol dependencies, as well as their families.
  • A commitment to our philosophy and ability to work in accordance with our policies and procedures.

Salary: $30-$40 per hour, depending on experience. With salary packaging and benefits, your take-home pay will be even more attractive.
