Job Opportunity: Weekend Chef

We are seeking an enthusiastic chef to join our team at one of our key aged care sites in Bundanoon.

  • This is a part-time role working on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing & presenting food for our residents.
  • Maintaining a clean working environment is essential.
  • Support bulk cooking operations as required.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods is also a key responsibility.
  • A fast, effective service provided with a positive attitude is expected.
Your Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
  • A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent is a must.
  • Adherence to food & general safety practices is crucial.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, time management & attention to detail are essential skills.
