Master Machinist

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Metal Machinist to join our team at West Coast Sheet Metal. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working 8-hour Day Shift with overtime optional.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical trades and experience in operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines. They will be responsible for producing high-quality machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment.

• Plan machining operations by interpreting work orders, blueprints, and engineering plans to ensure accurate production of machined parts.
• Maintain quality and safety standards by adhering to established procedures and protocols.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.

• Cert III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade or Fitter & Turner) or similar qualification.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in CNC metal fabrication.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

West Coast Sheet Metal offers a competitive salary package, including:

• $73,150 - $80,000 per annum, depending on relevant trade qualifications and experience.
