- Develop and maintain expertise in X-ray diffraction software and data processing methods
- Collaborate with industry partners to develop and implement clay characterisation projects
- Contribute to the development of the John de Laeter Centre's research program in clay mineral characterisation
- Supervise and mentor junior researchers and students
- PhD in Earth Sciences or Mineral Processing
- Comprehensive knowledge of X-ray diffraction theory and practice
- Proven experience in clay mineral characterisation techniques
- Familiarity with XRD software and data processing methods
