Culinary Technician

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Technician to join our team at LaBoca Bar and Grill. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for operating the handcrafted parrilla and accompanying attachments, preparing and maintaining the wood fire, and grilling and curating meat to the desired slow-grilled pace.

• Operate the parrilla and attachments to achieve optimal temperature and cooking results
• Prepare and maintain the wood fire, ensuring a stable temperature and ember management
• Grill and curate meat to the desired slow-grilled pace, maintaining the highest culinary standards
• Cook and prepare dishes according to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
• Monitor the taste and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency and excellence
• Contribute to kitchen operations, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and efficiency
• Uphold strict health, hygiene, and safety standards

• Previous experience as a Chef De Partie, preferably in Argentinian cuisine
• Chef trade qualification (essential)
• Proven ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work collaboratively with a multicultural diverse team
• Flexible to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and WH&S standards
