**Cafe Manager Position**

Were weeks away from opening a brand-new state of the art cafe inside Monash Medical Centre Clayton.

Henry and Co are launching a new cafe located at Monash Medical Centre. It is a state of the art dining hall and eatery. The company behind this dynamic concept has over 30 years experience in the hospitality industry.

Were looking for someone with extensive experience within the catering industry, solid organisational abilities. You will be responsible to coordinate, plan and manage catered events. Other main responsibilities will be designing and planning food and beverage menus with clients' preferences and special requests in mind.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with clients on menu selection, customer requirements and proposing catering options.
- Planning, designing food and beverage menu considering client's preferences and special requests (Dietary requirement).
- Overseeing venues, seating/setup, equipment, food and service preparation.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety food regulations.
- Communicating and working closely with management
- Communicating effectively with clients and staff
- Researching catering trends and promoting competitive catering services.
- Essential Skills & Qualifications:
- Well presented
- Basic computer skills
- 2-3 years of experience in catering management or similar.
- Advanced knowledge of best practices in catering management.
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong administration, organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate catering requirements with customers, chefs and suppliers.
