Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Machinery Repair Technician to work on our Caterpillar equipment fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of our heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Caterpillar equipment, including hydraulic, transmission, and engine systems
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Compile and complete accurate reporting and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the team to manage time and maximize efficiency
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements

  • Fully qualified certificate III in Mobile Plant with practical experience
  • Previous experience working on Cat machinery (desirable)
  • Strong commitment to safety, health, and environment procedures
  • Proactive and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment D&A screen and functional assessment
