We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic / Technician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the workshop, you will be responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance and servicing.
Key responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment. You will conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and ensure all repairs meet the highest standards.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and servicing.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
- Replace or repair defective components.
- Adhere to safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.
- Keep tools and workshop equipment in optimal condition.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automotive technology.
Requirements:
- Trade qualification as a Motor Mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of various vehicle makes and models.
- Physically fit to remove and refit major components.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and KPIs while maintaining service excellence.
- Understanding of roadworthy inspections.
- Valid driver's license.
- Own set of tools.
Previous experience with European vehicle programming and testing, ability to remove and fit tyres, or experience performing wheel alignments will be an advantage.
