Warehouse Assistant Job Opportunity

The role of Warehouse Assistant is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for receiving and dispatching stock while ensuring that all goods are properly accounted for.

You will also assist with data entry, purchasing goods and materials using E-procurement systems, and arranging delivery of stock items for countrywide distribution to regional stores. Your strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and passion for delivering results will make you an asset to our team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a current Forklift Licence - High Risk, a current 'C' class driver's licence or equivalent, and relevant knowledge of Stores Procedures. A Certificate II or III in Transport, Warehousing and Distribution would be highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload stock and non-stock items
  • Ensure stock on shelves is rotated and shelf life observed
  • Assist with data entry
  • Arrange delivery of stock items for countrywide distribution
  • Purchase goods and materials using E-procurement systems
Requirements:
  • Current Forklift Licence - High Risk
  • Current 'C' class driver's licence or equivalent
  • Relevant knowledge of Stores Procedures
  • Certificate II or III in Transport, Warehousing and Distribution (desirable)
