We are seeking a driven professional to join our Corporate Tax team in Sydney. Our team brings diverse perspectives and backgrounds, creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment that fosters growth and innovation.

The Opportunity

You will be central to delivering pragmatic solutions to help clients solve complex tax matters and efficiently manage their tax responsibilities. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with skilled and experienced professionals to deliver innovative solutions that help clients meet their tax obligations while maximizing their business outcomes.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Providing income tax advisory and compliance services to clients across various sectors.
  • Banking and capital markets;
  • Wealth and asset management including superannuation funds; and
  • Insurance

Advise a market-leading client list on complex tax matters while managing and developing a portfolio of financial services clients, leading the preparation and review of income tax compliance, provisions, and tax advice, and fostering strong relationships to become a trusted advisor.

What We Look For

To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Australian corporate income tax or fund tax experience, ideally gained in a top-tier accounting firm or corporate business (including superannuation, insurance, banking and wealth and asset management) – 8+ years of experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements with strong influencing skills to drive optimal outcomes, coupled with excellent client-facing skills to lead meetings, build networks, and grow accounts, while articulating complex technical information into clear recommendations and effectively leading and mentoring staff as a strong team player.

Completed CA qualifications or equivalent
