About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Analyst to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for designing and developing automated test frameworks, creating test automation scripts, and leading the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing automated test frameworks that address complex areas and provide effective solutions
  • Developing test automation scripts with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Leading the implementation and maintenance of automated testing frameworks
  • Executing automation test cases and sharing results with the team and stakeholders
  • Providing recommendations on future test automation requirements
  • Ensuring test environments are clearly defined and up-to-date with respect to code base levels
  • Planning, supporting, executing, and verifying changes into test environments and associated production changes
  • Participating in project planning, technical design review, test estimation, and acceptance criteria/user story carving sessions
  • Collaborating with software engineers and delivery team members
  • Creating and managing CI/CD pipelines for automated tests
  • Creating and updating test artefacts, such as test summary reports, test plans, and daily status updates
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Technical proficiency in functional test automation
  • Proven experience (2-3 years) in designing and developing automated tests and associated frameworks using Selenium and Cucumber with JavaScript
  • Direct experience building and executing automated test scripts
  • Solid skills in testing and writing automation scripts for REST API tests
  • Strong experience in Jira, testing methodologies, functional testing, web testing, mobile app testing
  • Hands-on experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins and Bamboo, and building automation test pipelines
  • Extensive experience in building and maintaining end-to-end automation frameworks
  • Advanced SQL experience
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Enthusiasm, attention to detail, great communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-development skills to stay up-to-date with fast-changing trends
