About the Position:

Uniting School Outside Hours Care is located on the grounds of MLC Junior Girls School, offering a diverse range of activities tailored to your child's unique interests and abilities.

The service caters for 60 children during Before, After School Care and Vacation Care. This is a casual position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality education and care to children to support their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework.
  • Develop positive relationships that support children, families, and community.
  • Facilitate play-based learning environments responsive to children's interests, strengths, and abilities.
  • Engage in healthy and positive relationships with school-aged children.

Requirements:

  • Be passionate about working with children of all ages.
  • Have effective communication skills with colleagues, families, and community members.
  • Experience working with additional needs children is highly regarded.
  • Be reliable and consistent in meeting rostering requirements.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
