Employment Opportunities Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Employment Opportunities Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and securing employment opportunities for individuals within the Disability Employment Services (DES) program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build a pipeline of customers through active community engagement and networking
  • Conduct customer appointments and guide customers through the process, identify barriers and devise appropriate management plans and pathways
  • Maintain progress reviews and identify next steps at each milestone
  • Meet performance indicators by converting sales leads into placements
  • Deliver effective and timely communication and post placement care to both employers and customers

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated recruitment experience
  • Excellent customer and client interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a targets based, fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload, use initiative and multi-task
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Satisfactory background checks including Police Check and Working With Children Check
  • Knowledge of child safe standards and mandatory reporting requirements
  • Experience working with in the disability service sector highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence
  • Evidence of Covid-19 Vaccination including booster
