Job Description:

As a key member of our finance team, you will be instrumental in driving commercial thinking and strategic business decisions. You will work closely with senior leaders to understand the drivers of their groups, identifying opportunities for efficiency and good commercial outcomes.

Our Digital Product Finance team focuses on accelerating digital growth by partnering with business leaders to bring financial expertise and enable strategic decision making. In this role, you will work at pace to support the strategic growth agenda and drive value creation for our Online business.

  • Partner closely with senior business leaders in Digital Engineering, Data and Platforms teams to deeply understand the drivers of their groups
  • Work collaboratively with the broader FP&A and finance team to achieve financial objectives and encourage adherence to the general control environment
  • Continuously work to achieve forecast accuracy
  • Design and implement reporting processes for executive and leadership levels
  • Contribute to efficient capital allocation and investment decision-making
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We are looking for a passionate Finance Business Partner who understands the value of harnessing strong commercial relationships. Ideally, you will have had exposure within digital, although this is not essential.

  • CA/CPA or similar business qualification with commercial awareness and business focus
  • Experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors highly regarded, alternatively big 4 or mid-tier environment
  • FP&A experience
  • Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend course of action
  • Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders (finance and non-finance) to achieve best for business outcomes
  • Experience of presenting financial information concisely which focuses on drawing out insight
  • Experience of owning end-to-end planning process
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on commercial partnering
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • System literacy; experience of developing dashboards in PowerBI or similar desirable
